Shaft Seal and Rubber Oil Seal

A shaft seal — also known as a rotary seal or rubber oil seal — is used to retain lubrication and prevent leakage along rotating shafts. Our design integrates a stainlesssteel shell for dimensional stability and a bonded NBR rubber lip for elastic, dynamic sealing. The metal core provides rigidity during press-fit installation, while the rubber ensures a tight seal against the shaft.

    Material Available in Menhow

Elastomeric Seal Lip (typically bonded to metal)

    Metal Case or Reinforcement

    Our Advantages

Menhow’s shaft seal combine the strength of stainless steel (SUS) with the flexibility and chemical resistance of nitrile rubber (NBR) to deliver reliable, long-lasting performance in high-speed and harsh environments. Designed as metal-rubber composite seals, they are engineered to prevent fluid leakage, block contaminants, and maintain seal integrity under pressure and rotation.

    Dual-material construction

Combines the structural strength of SUS with the sealing performance of NBR

     Excellent oil and fluid resistance

NBR rubber resists common lubricants, fuels, and hydraulic fluids

    Robust mechanical stability

Stainless steel casing supports press-fit installation without deformation

    Wear-resistant sealing lip

Maintains a tight seal under rotary motion and shaft misalignment

    Customizable design

Available in various cross-sections, lip geometries, and dimensions

    Reliable sealing under pressure

Withstands internal pressures and shaft speeds common in automotive and industrial applications
